Role Overview: Lucas Group is partnered with a global manufacturing organization in the Dayton area on their search for a Global HR Leader. This person will lead a team of HR Business Partners and report to the VP of HR. The Global HR Leader will partner directly with senior business leaders to shape and influence business strategy as it relates human capital, talent development, employee engagement and change management. The Global HR Leader maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit’s financial position, its strategic and mid-range plans and culture.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive people strategy, prioritizing initiatives that will help to deliver the business strategy
• Drive continuous development reviews, planning for succession and building plans to develop leaders towards desired values, behaviors and skills
• Influencing the strategic agenda, leveraging relationships at key levels in the organization
• Proactively design and execute an HR agenda that creates value for the business now and in the future
• Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues by conducting thorough and objective investigation
• Drive the talent management cycle within the business
• Partner with senior business leaders to plan, organize, direct, implement and evaluate HR initiatives
• Develop change management strategies supporting implementation of new HR initiatives and programs

Requirements:

• 10+ years’ experience
• Heavy multi-site experience
• Experience supporting VP or Executive level business leaders
• Strong generalist background in manufacturing
• Global experience
• Must have led a team of direct reports
