ASSISTANT CONTROLLER: $130k+, plus bonus
Our client, a large privately owned, established professional services firm is seeking a high caliber Assistant Controller. The ideal candidate will be an accomplished CPA and accounting professional with outstanding people management skills. Will be responsible for managing the accumulation and consolidation of the financial data for internal and external financial statements, assisting with budgeting & forecasting, evaluating accounting and internal control systems, and managing departmental staff.
Keys:
· CPA
· 10-15 years’ experience
· Nice mix of Big 4 and Industry highly preferred
· Financial statement preparation and analysis
· Foreign currency translation and accounting
· Decent understanding of tax or desire to learn about tax
· Some degree of intellectual curiosity
· Motivated, technically sound
