Lucas Group has been engaged by our Manufacturing client in a search for an Assistant Controller due to company growth. This role will be responsible for leading month end close, inventory accounting, financial reporting and assist with AP/AR if needed. The Assistant Controller will have high visibility to upper management and report directly to the Controller.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead month end, quarterly and yearly financial close
- Monthly inventory analysis and reconciliations
- System maintenance
- Assist other accounting functions as necessary.
- Ad hoc projects assigned by the Controller
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 3 – 9 years of hands on accounting experience (in a manufacturing environment a huge plus)
- Strong understanding of inventory and knowledge of AP and AR
- Advanced Excel experience
