Lucas Group has been engaged by a client in North Houston on a search for a AR Analyst to assist the Credit Team Leader in delivering a high-level credit control service for internal customers while minimizing credit risk exposure and adding value to the business.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the collection of accounts in an assigned portfolio to ensure compliance with payment terms and credit limits utilizing the assigned ERP system
- High volume phone calls to assigned delinquent customers
- Posting cash via automated cash posting and manual entry
- Approve credit limits based on credit approval authority as delegated by position and internal risk rating
- Reconcile customer disputes as they pertain to payment of outstanding balances that are due
- Meet defined department goals and activity metrics
- Monitor and approve sales orders on credit hold
- Weekly and monthly reporting to direct supervisor
- Interact with internal sales and customer service teams as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Business/Finance/Accounting.
- 3 + years in Credit Management, Collections and Cash Application.
- Experience with data entry in SAP or other ERP system is a plus
- Strong MS office skills
- Bilingual Spanish
