Description:

The Analytics & Optimization Specialist will be directly responsible for solving complex digital problems and identifying areas of opportunity for site optimization, increased conversions, and revenues. This role will be a blend of data analyst and pragmatic digital thinker, to understand trends, site behavior, to traffic acquisition to then leverage those insights for optimization strategies. You will be tasked with identifying, designing, implementing, measuring and analyzing/reporting the performance of data-driven digital strategy.

The Analytics & Optimization Specialist will own the analytics data and the strategy for leveraging that data to optimize the eCommerce site for better conversion. This may include better design, functionality, content, or other items that you identify that will drive an increase in customer engagement and revenue.  The ideal candidate should have a working knowledge of major analytics platform, a solid background in eCommerce user experience and journeys, and a track record for increasing eCommerce site conversions and revenues.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience working directly in management of an eCommerce site and familiarity with major eCommerce platforms
  • Experience with Optimization Platforms such as Optimizely, Monetate, Qubit, Maxymiser, Adobe Test & Target, etc
  • Experience with implementing and managing Analytics and Data Visualization platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, etc
  • Experience with tag management platforms, such as Google Tag Manager and Tealium, and site tagging

Experience Requirements:

  • 4 + years of relevant experience in a stakeholder role such as Product Management, eCommerce Management, Business Intelligence, or Digital Strategy. Preferably direct experience in working with data and site optimization in an eCommerce environment.
  • Experience in eCommerce strategy and User Experience optimization
  • Experience conducting user research and testing via tools like UserTesting, Usability Hub, etc.
  • Experience with using Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or a comparable web analytics tool to inform and validate business strategy, A/B tests, and User Experience. Preferably certified in Google Analytics or comparable platform.
  • Ability to translate qualitative and quantitative data into actionable and executable site optimization strategies
  • Experience with reporting, analyzing, and visualizing quantitative data from variety of sources to validate optimization strategies. Experience working with UX design teams to translate optimization strategies into the appropriate User Experience.
  • Experience in configuration of analytics and tag management platforms, as well as the ability to tag site pages to gain actionable data.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills including communication, relationship building and motivating peers and stakeholders.
  • We hold a strong preference for local candidates

  • Web and back-end analytics analysis, visualization, and reporting; implement tags within tag management platforms, and configure analytics platforms
  • Uncover optimization opportunities within site experiences and marketing efforts to increase sales and achieve brand goals

  • Define KPIs, supporting metrics, and measurement strategies
