AI Strategy Manager (IT Transformation)
Position Overview
An enterprise IT organization is launching a large-scale AI transformation initiative to fundamentally reshape how work is executed across the function. This role will operate at the forefront of that effort, helping define, prioritize, and operationalize the AI strategy from the ground up.
The organization is seeking a seasoned AI strategy leader with a consulting background to act as a thought partner to senior leadership. This individual will help guide AI adoption, articulate value creation, and establish a clear transformation roadmap across the IT organization. This is a highly strategic role focused on AI Value & Strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and define a comprehensive AI transformation strategy aligned to enterprise IT objectives
- Partner with senior stakeholders to prioritize AI use cases and build a phased implementation roadmap
- Provide thought leadership on AI adoption, including emerging trends, best practices, and organizational impact
- Translate business needs into AI-driven initiatives across IT functions and systems
- Identify and articulate value creation opportunities, including efficiency gains, productivity improvements, and cost optimization
- Guide decision-making across AI investments, tooling, operating models, and governance frameworks
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between strategy, product, and execution teams
- Support development of business cases, KPIs, and success metrics for AI initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as an IT Strategy Consultant
- Proven track record of developing and executing AI strategies for large, enterprise-scale organizations
- Recognized as a thought leader in AI and IT transformation
- Strong ability to operate in ambiguous, early-stage transformation environments
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience quantifying AI value and ROI, including building business cases
- Exposure to enterprise IT operating models and large-scale transformation programs
- Background working with or alongside strategy consulting teams
