We have partnered with our financial services client in their search for an AI Platform Engineer (Contract position).
Responsibilities
- Build and mature client's shared Enterprise AI platform, developing reusable capabilities, including RAG pipelines, vector search, embeddings, memory management, context assembly, and knowledge ingestion that accelerate AI product delivery across the enterprise.
- Design, develop, and support scalable AI platform services including prompt management, PII detection/redaction, AI SDKs, telemetry, evaluation frameworks, identity & access integration, standardized deployment patterns, and production support.
- Partner with AI Engineering, Platform, and Cloud teams to integrate enterprise AI platforms and transition vendor-built AI capabilities to internally owned, enterprise-grade services with scalable architecture, governance, and operational best practices.
Skills Required
- 7+ years of software or platform engineering experience with expertise in Python, APIs, CI/CD, observability, AWS (plus familiarity with Azure/GCP), and production-grade cloud platform development.
- Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector search, embeddings, retrieval pipelines, LLM integration, prompt/configuration management, agent memory, and AI context management.
- Strong background building scalable AI/ML or data-intensive systems, including production services, testing, identity & access integration, PII handling, and enterprise platform engineering.
Education & Work Experience
- Bachelor's Degree (pref. Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Tech-related)
- 7+ years of Professional Work Experience
