Top client, a capital firm located downtown, is seeking a corporate counsel/AGC with 3-12 years of law firm experience and/or in-house in handling mutual funds and 40 Act. Great culture and benefits. Job duties include identifying and addressing compliance with legal and regulatory requirements affecting business operations, including U.S. and foreign securities laws and general corporate and partnership obligations. This position also includes addressing numerous matters regarding the client's Mutual Funds, including preparing materials for and attending quarterly board meetings, leading the process for the annual update of registration statements and the preparation of registration statements for new mutual funds, reviewing board meeting minutes and negotiating intermediary agreements.
