Advertising Secondee Attorney- In- House Opportunity in Manhattan

Unique ad agency opportunity (3-4 months & hourly / contracted)

• Perform in house legal work relating to production of advertising and marketing materials.
• Managing advertising agreements – focus on consumer products and services advertising
• Experience in advertising content production
• Advising and coordinating among business, finance, and legal stakeholders
• Reviewing and negotiating advertising insertion orders against standard forms and fallback provisions
• Negotiating standard form contracts
• Reviewing marketing materials, advertising claims, and basic copyright and trademark issues

Requirements:

• Ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience, either in –house or within a large law firm.
• Technical skill, negotiation skills, and a strong understanding of contracts will be important for this role.
• Previous experience with IP is a plus.
• Must be active member of NY Bar in good standing
• Immediate availability for hourly / contract work and ability to commit to a 3+ month assignment
