Accounts Payable Lead (Closed)

Lucas Group is partnering with our client in West Houston in their search for an Accounts Payable Lead. This is a contract position with potential to convert to full-time with the organization. They are seeking someone at a Lead/Supervisory level for the position that is able to jump in, learn the systems and identify areas of process improvement. This role will be processing manual checks and memo checks, all non-PO invoices.

Skills Needed:

• At least 5+ years of full cycle Accounts Payable experience
• Need to have an understanding of the AP workflow
• Supervisory/Lead experience is required
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Concur invoicing experience preferred, but not required
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel

This role will primarily be remote based, but going into the office 1 day per week. In the next few months, the position may be returning to the office full-time. They are practicing social distancing while in the office and wearing masks if not at their desks.
