Accounts Payable Consultant

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Consultant to support their AP team. This role is essential in maintaining smooth operations and ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor payments and communications.

This is a W2 hourly interim opportunity through Korn Ferry requiring 4 days onsite at the client in NYC (Midtown East).

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounts payable tasks including invoice coding and submission.
• Onboard new vendors and set them up in Workday.
• Complete wire verification processes to ensure secure transactions.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to resolve inquiries and ensure alignment.
• Support testing and transition activities related to the implementation of a new tool

Education & Work Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field required.
• Proven experience working in a high volume Accounts Payable position
• Prior experience in the Financial Services sector is desirable.
• Experience with Workday or similar ERP systems preferred.
