Accounting Manager (Closed)

Lucas Group has partnered with our client, a privately owned real estate development company on their search for an Accounting Manager. This position will lead a small accounting team and is responsible for the entire accounting and finance function. Scope of Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop accounting team consisting of property accountants, AP, AR through month end close and special projects
• Responsible for preparation and review of reporting packages on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Responsible for monitoring bank compliance and reporting
• Coordination of external auditors

Skills Needed:

• Commercial Real Estate Experience required
• Experience with Yardi, MRI or similar program
• Experience with financial reporting and analysis

Educational & Work Requirements:

• Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Related Field
• Certification: CPA required
• Work Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience including supervisory
