Our client is a growing medical device company and is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team. We are searching for a team oriented individual to support the business and take over financial reporting, management, and bookkeeping. . A goal of this position will be to grow into a controller role with the company. Currently supervises two with plans for more.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Performing daily accounting functions
- Preparing, analyzing, and booking journal entries
- Oversee expense reporting software
- Manage all aspects of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
- Manage the invoicing team
- Build teams as the company grows
- Improve accuracy and control of Inventory
- Prepare and analyze balance sheet account and credit card reconciliations
- Oversee expense reporting software for improved reporting efficiency
- Track fixed assets and perform monthly reconciliations
- Primary contact for audits
- Perform Monthly Close Duties as well as quarterly and annual filing requirements
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance
- Big 4 audit experience and CPA/candidate preferred,
- 3+ years of experience preferred
- A working knowledge of GAAP accounting
- Experience with Netsuite software is a plus
- Self-starter with strong communication skills and willingness to be hands on
- Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively
