Accounting Manager

Our client is growing and is well poised for strategic acquisitions in this new year!  Due to this growth they have created multiple Accounting Manager positions that will be located in their far West Houston offices. They are a multi-location company with several business segments in construction, logistics and related businesses.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Full General Ledger responsibility and leading a team through the monthly close process
• Prepare monthly Financial Statements and a comprehensive reporting package for Leadership team and Stakeholders
• Billings to customers; related AR and collections
• Accounts Payable for multiple locations
• Allocations and re-billing of costs and project tracking
• Payroll Allocations and payroll GL entries
• Assist Controller with the budgeting process, monthly variance analysis and KPI reporting
• Ad hoc reporting

Education and Experience Requirements

· Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred

· 8+ years accounting experience in a multi-location environment

· 5+ years management / supervisory experience

· Highly organized, ability to prioritize conflicting deadlines

· Strong analytical skills

· Comfortable in a fast paced, ever changing environment
