Our client, a public oilfield services company is looking to add an Accounting Manager to their team located in West Houston. This company is growing exponentially and this position reports directly to the Chief Accounting Officer.
Compensation: $110K + bonus
Some responsibilities include…
- Assist in the evaluation and documentation of accounting transactions while providing input into the development of new accounting policies
- Stay up to date on new accounting and SEC regulations, proposed regulations, and agenda items of standard setters
- Maintain a consistent process with successful controls for raising, documenting, and evaluating technical issues
- Offer technical assistance to the Corporate Accounting team regarding complex transactions
- Boost Investor Relations functions for the development and maintenance of quarterly publicly available materials.
Experience Requirements:
- BA/BS in Accounting
- CPA required
- 3+ years in an audit capacity with a Big 4 CPA firm required
