The Lucas Group has partnered with our client in the College Station, TX area that is seeking an Accounting Assistant. This is a full-time contract position, with the possibility of direct hire.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare AP invoice vouchers and insure correct G/L coding
  • Data entry skills and processes high volume of invoices for all companies within the organization.
  • Create sales orders/invoices accurately and submit in timely manner
  • Handle and manage inter-company billings
  • Respond in a timely manner to all AR inquiries
  • Maintain Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable accounts and Cash Handling procedures to company standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5+ years relevant work experience in the area of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • High volume AP processing experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Professional demeanor
  • Experience with other accounting functions - GL, Cash Apps, Cash transfers, etc. is a big plus.
