The Lucas Group has partnered with our client in the College Station, TX area that is seeking an Accounting Assistant. This is a full-time contract position, with the possibility of direct hire.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare AP invoice vouchers and insure correct G/L coding
- Data entry skills and processes high volume of invoices for all companies within the organization.
- Create sales orders/invoices accurately and submit in timely manner
- Handle and manage inter-company billings
- Respond in a timely manner to all AR inquiries
- Maintain Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable accounts and Cash Handling procedures to company standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years relevant work experience in the area of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- High volume AP processing experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional demeanor
- Experience with other accounting functions - GL, Cash Apps, Cash transfers, etc. is a big plus.
