Accountant II - Corporate Accounting and Reporting (Closed)

Our firm has been selected to conduct a search for an Accountant II on behalf of a diversified holding company primarily engaged in the petroleum refining and nitrogen fertilizer manufacturing industries. Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with 2 plus year’s experience. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that likes to promote from within is a fun place to work, provide excellent work life balance and fantastic culture.  

Compensation: up to $71,000.
This position will entertain a competitive range of compensation including base salary and competitive benefits.

Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• 2-3 years’ experience.
• Would consider someone out of straight public.
• HFM highly preferred.
• Financial reporting, analysis, sox.

Some responsibilities include…

• Financial statement preparation.
• Monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting processes.
• Perform accounting tasks necessary to maintain company corporate financial records and process related data.
• Assist with various ad hoc requests related to corporate accounting and reporting, as well as special projects.
