Our Client, a successful manufacturing company seeks an Accountant to join their team. This role reports directly to the Controller and will assist with the month end close and related analysis for five entities. Duties to include:
Perform balance sheet reconciliations
Month end journal entries including accruals
Analysis of variances from budget
Preparation of financial reports and statements
Other duties as required
Background:
Degree in accounting, Masters in accounting or MBA a plus
CPA or pursuing is a plus
3+ years of directly related experience, audit in public accounting could be substituted for some of the direct experience
Strong computer skills including Excel, exposure to large ERP systems is preferred, SAP is a plus
