West Houston area manufacturing organization seeks an Accountant. This position is open due to the team expansion and the company offers a very competitive compensation and benefits package.
Accountant main responsibilities:
- Assist the Accounting Manager in all aspects of account analysis and posting of journal entries associated with the monthly close
- Maintain general ledger accounts including month end accruals and account reconciliations.
- Revenue Recognition Support
- Review monthly percentage of completion project accounting
- Support internal SOX documentation and testing of internal controls
- Complete special projects as assigned
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- CPA or pursuing preferred
