In this role, you will be asked to:
Exceed sales target for your territory
Develop a Territory Sales Plan that focuses on growing revenue in the territory across large and small customers
Understand customer organizations by department, function, strategies, and key programs
Profile and develop relationships with key executives (Managers, Directors, VP’s,) within the territory
Master the basic features and benefits of our primary products, including Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Logic Analyzers & BERT’s
Identify and sell into new and existing applications for company products
Effectively utilize sales resources including applications engineers, product teams, channel partners & inside sales support
Qualifications:
Demonstrated track record of quota attainment selling technical products and/or capital equipment utilizing a defined sales process
Demonstrated success calling on a diverse sales territory consisting of commercial accounts, military/government accounts and public universities
Demonstrated success prospecting for and closing new business
Highly motivated and success driven
Fully developed tactical sales skills (prospecting, qualifying, closing, and growing existing customers)
Strong communication and presentation skills
Excellent time and territory management habits
Experience with personal computer, e-mail, and Microsoft Office programs
Engineering degree, EE preferred
Minimum 6 years of selling experience
Ability to travel 50% of the time within territory
