Account Executive – Chemical Sales

Location: Odessa / Midland (Permian Basin)

We are currently seeking an Account Executive with experience in O&G chemicals to join the team.

The Account Executive is responsible for the management of customer accounts within their territory. This includes quoting, tracking, and forecasting sales. The individual will work closely with the sales team, customer service, and operations to maximize sales in their territory and ensure customers receive superior service and quality products.

  • Oversee and ensure that customer quotations are kept up to date company wide
  • Control pricing within preset company limits
  • Comprehension of Bid packages and requirements for retaining and establishing strong customer base
  • Maintain customer database, forecasting sales and gross profit (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
  • Research, qualify and introduce new products to salespersons and senior management team
  • Capacity to develop sales strategies providing value added services and promote products
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to comprehend and foster complex customer relationships

Technical skills:

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of AS/400 style system or a similar ERP system

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree preferably in business or science
  • Some travel in local area, home every night; Standard industry sales tools provided
  • Valid driving license and clean driving record
  • Employment is contingent upon completion of background investigation and pre-employment drug screening
